EA Annual Event Duration Monitoring Report for England 2022
EA have issued a briefing note on their plans to publish event duration monitoring reports for England, the first of which for 2022 has been published today. The briefing note, is critical of the progress to date, lays outlines the progress it expects water companies to make in the coming year and also give links to more detailed localised date rather than just the national and water company area headlines contained within the main text.
Reports earlier in the week suggest Ofwat are considering bring forward investment from the agreed investment cycle 2025 2030, into 2024 to speed up much needed improvements. As ever the major headline concern remains who ultimately pays for this and likely impact directly or indirectly on customer’s bills.
